Can you fit 3 120mm fans on a Hyte Y60 : Need to increase your number of intake fans on your new Hyte Y60 This bracket allows you to attach 3 fans to the side intake on your Hyte Y60 case. The bracket snugly snaps into place through the existing screw slots and securely holds 3 120mm fans.
Are the Hyte Y60 fans good
The airflow is great and it looks great too. Plus there's plenty of room in the back for cable management with tons of places for cable ties to keep it well organized as well. Only complaint would be that it's got a tight clearance on the top for cables, otherwise it's pretty much perfect for water cooled systems.
Are 120mm fans good enough : The most common size is 120mm case fans. These fans are the standard and are quite efficient. For those building a Mini ITX or Micro ATX PC, then 120mm case fans will definitely be the best choice: they are fairly quiet, efficient, and affordable.
3 x 120mm fans will provide slightly more airflow overall, but 2 x 140mm fans will be quieter, as larger fans don't need to spin as fast to provide the same level of airflow.
But the end result is worth it. This case is excellent for custom loop systems. There's plenty of space for a couple radiators and a reservoir, and it's easy to access all places in the case with the glass panels removed. The airflow is great and it looks great too.
Is 2 fans enough for a PC
For basic computing work for a few hours, one simple exhaust fan or one intake fan combined with one exhaust fan is enough. But, if the PC runs longer, one exhaust and two intake fans can easily manage the airflow with proper cooling. One to the fans is also enough for those who play games for two to three hours daily. If you use more drives there, i'd might think about going for 3×120, otherwise 2×140. 3 x 120mm fans will provide slightly more airflow overall, but 2 x 140mm fans will be quieter, as larger fans don't need to spin as fast to provide the same level of airflow. In general, combining axial fans in series does not increase the airflow but increases the air pressure. On the other hand, running fans in parallel does not increase the static pressure but increases the airflow.
The Hyte Y60 isn't huge, at 17.9 x 11.2 x 18.2 inches (456 x 285 x 462mm). But while Hyte claims this case can fit SSR-CEB/EEB (E-ATX) motherboards, our standard-ATX Gigabyte Aorus Z690 Ultra was already a fairly tight fit.
Is 1 fan good for PC : If you can have more exhaust fans, they will cool the PC much better than just one, because often the heat from the GPU and CPU (even though it has a cooler) gets trapped in the case, creating excess temperature.
Is it okay to have 1 fan in PC : Yes, it's safe. All cases have lots of different places to put fans and only the most extreme builds would ever need them all to be populated.
Is it better to have 3 120mm fans or 2 140mm fans
3 x 120mm fans will provide slightly more airflow overall, but 2 x 140mm fans will be quieter, as larger fans don't need to spin as fast to provide the same level of airflow.
More cooling Usually, yes. You can get 2 fan cards that have better cooling than 3 fan cards, and there are some particularly lower end cards where it doesn't matter in the slightest, but in general the 3 fan cards are better. In some cases, it may make more sense to put more than one ceiling fan in your living space. For example, a room that is excessively long or L-shaped may not receive effective air movement from a dual ceiling fan. In a situation such as this, it would make sense to add two or more ceiling fans to the room.
Is 1 fan enough for a GPU : How important is the number of fans on a GPU They only influence on performance is when you push the card to the edge. The better cooled cards can go higher/longer without thermal throttling. The main reason to go for more fans is noise though.
