Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an enjoyable, yet deeply challenging game. It's not really a Dark Souls with samurais game, but whether or not you enjoyed the difficulty level of the battles in Dark Souls will be a good benchmark in gauging how much you'll like Sekiro.It's a lot harder than Dark Souls because you can't level up, get OP gear or call for help (no co-op). You either learn the boss patterns or you're stuck permanently. Enemies have very wide hitboxes to make dodging not viable and funnel you into the parry playstyle.Dark Souls are more fun. There is way more variety in those games than Sekiro. Dark Souls Remastered or Dark Souls 3 — skip out on DS2. Sekiro is a good game and more difficult than any of the Souls games, but DS1 and DS3 are much better, in my opinion.

Is Sifu like a Souls game : While some would prefer to classify Sifu in other ways, there are just as many people who would call Sifu one of the best and most inventive Soulslike games you can play.
